An expert report is only as reliable as its factual basis. First check which files, interviews and findings were actually considered.
Unclear or outdated information should be identified in an orderly way. The goal is not a medical counter-report from instinct, but a verifiable factual review.
Therapy steps matter only when documented. Participation alone says little, concrete goals and progress matter more.
Collect treatment confirmations, progress reports and signs of stable cooperation. These documents can make the prognosis more factual.
A negative prognosis should not remain an unreviewable label. It matters which risk factors are named and which protective factors point the other way.
Protective factors may include support, housing, therapy plan, work and reliable appointments. They must be documented concretely.
Without a release plan the prognosis often remains abstract. The plan should show what happens on the first day after release and who is responsible.
Housing, treatment, support, work or daily structure and crisis contacts should be recorded clearly.
An expert report in preventive measures should not be accepted or rejected from instinct. The decisive point is the factual basis of the assessment and whether current documents were considered.
The question put to the expert is also important. A report for release review must address different points from a mere description of the past. It concerns risk, development, treatment and concrete framework conditions.
Therapy and treatment should not merely be asserted. Participation, goals, progress, feedback and stability matter. The more precise the documentation, the better the prognosis can be reviewed.
